Chhavi Rajawat
Chhavi Rajawat is the First Woman Sarpanch in India with an MBA
degree. She is the youngest person to hold the office of Sarpanch. She discarded
her well-paying corporate job with one of India’s Biggest Telecom Firm to become
the Sarpanch of Soda, a village 60 kms from Jaipur.
She
was born on 1977 for Narendra Singh Rajwat and Harsh Chauhan in Rajasthan. She
completed her schooling in Rishi Valley School in Andhra Pradesh. Then she
completed her College studies in Mayo Colleges in Rajasthan and Lady Shri Ram
College in Women in Delhi. After completing her MBA in Pune, She started
working in many corporate companies with high Pay-Scale.
Chhavi
Rajawat let her corporate job and her city to help rural India. She became the
Sarpanch in Soda. Her Grandfather Mr.Brig Raghubir Singh had been the Sarpanch
of the same village 20 years back to Chhavi Rajawat’s elections. With great
passion to help rular India, She have meet lot of people’s around her village
and took lead in development of Soda Village.
She
have inspirited many young girls and help them for her education. She have also
successfully implemented “Rain Water Harvesting, Toilet Facilities in most of
the houses in the village, etc. She have never regret for staying up in a
village and staying away from glamorous life. She is a living example for many
young girls in and around her village.
