Indira Gandhi was popularly known as the Iron Lady of India across the globe. Her pure love towards politics helped her to climb remarkable position in the Indian Politics. And also helped her to become the first woman elected to head a democratic country. Born & grown in a politically powerful background helped her learn all political tricks in her early age. After the death of her father, she becomes the central figure of the Indian National Congress Party. She was born to Jawaharlal Nehru - India’s first Prime Minister – and Kamla Nehru. Her childhood wasn’t a happy one like others. Her father was mostly away from home due to his political responsibility and her mother suffered from bouts of illness frequently.
